While Brazil is preparing itself for the influx of thousands of people from across the globe for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, those lucky enough to have tickets might find it handy to prepare themselves by learning a little of the language of the host country.

Cactus offers Brazilian Portuguese part-time and evening courses in London. Short courses start this May - perfect timing if you are jetting off to Brazil!

Try a 5-week course of two 2-hour lessons each week (starting 12th May), a weekend holiday survival course of 10 hours total (17th & 18th May) or a 1-week intensive course of classes Monday to Friday (starting 19th May). Courses are available at beginners level in Brazilian Portuguese and will give you the essential language you need for a trip to Brazil.
